Hello folks! Progress list and another weapon render today. I have made a lot of progress this past week, and I am happy to say that nearly all the weapons for Infested are finished, and working in-game.

Here’s the basic progress report:

  • Remade multiplayer map “Thunderdome” using better lighting techniques, touch activated platforms and a higher res sky. Also proper texture coordinates and weapon placements.
  • Created new map “Mars Needs Women”.
  • Created new map “Duality”.
  • Created new map “House of Pain”.
  • Added new weapons for in-game use.
  • Added Water texture set.
  • Added new weapon sounds.
  • Improved current particle effects.
  • Added 3D health bars.
  • Added numerous Player script improvements.
  • Modeled SMG.
  • Improved UI graphics.
  • And more…

And last but not least, a render of the new SMG model:

Hey Alex! Just wondering, how is the enemy AI going? Any renders of the enemy models? Game is looking good!

Right now Brian is working on path-finding type AI, which I hope to convert for regular AI use. Right now I just have pretty awful AI, so I haven’t been doing much SP stuff yet.

I will get some screenshots of enemies soon!

Oh, okay. I can’t wait to see Brian’s AI. :D
