Progress Report 2-23-09

Many apologies for the late update folks. Not a whole lot to talk about today, but I did completely finish 1 new monster, and finished the model/UV for another. I also designed more Survival maps, and worked out some new game types.

Somebody requested a pic of the main screen, so here it is:

Hello everyone. I have some good and bad news about Marathon Infested, that I hope will not disappoint you too much. Please read and comment in the forum thread below:

Now, no project update today, but I will include a couple of AR renders, as requested, and 1 screenshot. A treat to whoever recognizes that map. :)

Hello folks! Sorry for the late update, my work fell off my shelf, and buried me, and then it started leaking out of my computer and spilled all over my desk.

Today I have a couple of screens, aaaand you guessed it! A progress report! O.o

  • All netmaps have been completed. All that remains are bot paths, sounds, and tweaking.
  • Updated weapons, and fixed some bugs/added new features.
  • Got started doing some new animations for the player. (Not in bots just yet).
  • Tweaked bots.
  • Weapon balance fixes.
  • Performance optimization.
  • More stuff.

Progress Report 2-1-09

Tremendous progress this week. No screenshots to show right now, but then, that’s usually a sign of me being busier then usual, and I am!

In short, I’ve fully completed 4 new maps, and populated all maps with spawn points, and lots of weapons and ammo. There’s been a lot of script improvements, and HUD upgrades as well, not to mention huge improvements in Bot AI and function.

I’ve also finally completed all the pickups such as ammo, health, and low poly versions of the weapons for pickups.
